eClub Miami Valley

The weather was finally cooperative, and the course at NCR South didn’t disappoint. Though we had a couple of slights delays due to lightning in the area, the rain stayed away and everyone seemed to really enjoy their time on this fabulous golf course.

A few of the highlights from this eClub event are as follows. John Robertson carded a smooth 74 for low Gross, while Joe Urman captured the low Net honors with a very impressive net 66 by virtue of carding an 80, with a 14 handicap.

Eighteen of the twenty one players participated in the optional Net Skins game with Vern Campbell being the big winner attributable to some stellar play on both #6 and #16 which earned him two skins. David Hacker (#1), Gary Tarka (#12), Carl Reinke (#14), Dave Schrader (#17), and Jerry Rathman (#18) all managed to claim one skin each.

The South Course at NCR proved once again, that even though it's quite challenging, it can also yield a fair number of pars and birdies when you make some good shots. It appeared as though everyone was relishing their minor victories, rather than dwelling on the defeats they may have suffered during the round. The condition of the course, the Staff at NCR, and the great group of eClub members that participated, all combined to make this an extremely enjoyable day.
