eClub Miami Valley

October was both spectacularly good and truly bad for eClub members.

The month started out with two eClub members, Jerry Rathmann and Dave Schrader, teaming up to win the Two Man Metropolitan Championship in the Senior Handicap division. This event was held October 5th at Urbana Country Club which is a spectacular layout. Jerry and Dave managed to post a scintilating12 under par 60 in this annual better ball competion.

Then the month turned lousy. Or, at least the weather turned lousy. The annual trip to Longaberger Golf Club was scrubbed due to weather. High temperatures in the mid fourties, cloudy, windy, and a fair chance of showers, doesn't make for an overly pleasant experience on the golf course. Maybe we will have better luck with this event next year.
